Corporate Travel Agent - Remote [Canada]

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Sabre GDS knowledge and proficiency, native Sabre is strongly preferred
  • 5+ Years of experience in the travel industry
  • Expert knowledge on corporate pricing with client discounts
  • Knowledge of ticketing transactions is preferred
  • Proficient with International itineraries and rate structures
  • Knowledge of online booking tools (Concur preferred)
  • Experience in managing and communicating with premium business travelers
  • You are conscientiousness, flexible and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate ability to problem solve and take initiative to support client and team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Highly solution-oriented and strong ability to build relationships with clients
  • Willingness to learn, grow and evolve with the team. We are open to new ideas and expect the team to be too!
  • Strongly reliable and a strong focus on assisting and completing client requests.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of luxury corporate clients as a self-starter, proactive and professionalism.
  • Curate professional, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for all clients within their company's guidelines and standards of excellence for customer service
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment, experience in fashion a plus
  • Completes travel arrangements for clients' air, hotel, car rentals, trains, tour, and ground arrangements at the lowest possible price within corporate travel guidelines
  • Collect the relevant data required for financial reporting
  • Follow and suggest improvements in company procedures in the areas of customer service, documentation of PNRs and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, accuracy of work etc.
  • Maintains ownership of each record until departure to ensure all details (including seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades, etc.) are completed to the client's satisfaction
  • Researches and provides solutions to any travel related problem clients may have experienced with arrangements made with total management awareness and participation
  • Stays fully informed on all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements
  • Keeping up to date on training, technology, trends and industry knowledge (including Sabre)
  • Has knowledge of and understanding of re-routing and exchange processes
  • Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with senior level VIP’s
  • Passion for the fashion industry is a bonus
  • Ensuring productivity targets are achieved and accounts are in growth mode

The Package:

Competitive salary above market value, dependent on experience

Shifts:

A) Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

B) Monday – Friday 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

No on-call hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
